About GhostMidi

Your name on the cover.

Hi, I'm the person behind GhostMidi.

I make my living as a ghostwriter. For years, I've helped CEOs, founders, creators, and a handful of names you'd recognize put their stories on the page. Books, thought-leadership pieces, keynotes. The cover always says their name. And it should.

The stories, the ideas, the lived experience? Those are theirs. I just listen, distill, shape, sometimes push back, sometimes quietly delete the parts that don't land. The work literally wouldn't exist without that partnership.

That partnership is invaluable. The author keeps every ounce of credit, and I get the deep satisfaction of helping a story exist that otherwise wouldn't. Both sides win. That's the model.

On the side, I produce music. Bedroom hobbyist. Half-finished beats, chord progressions I can hear but not notate, melodies that lose me by the bridge. The bottleneck is always the same: ideas are flowing and then I lose steam trying to translate them in my DAW.

A few months ago, working on a verse, I caught myself thinking something specific: this would be so much easier if I had a ghostwriter for the music part. Someone who'd listen to “dark trap progression in E minor that climbs into a Latin twist around bar 5” and just… do it. Not invent the song. Not put their name on it. Just translate the intent into the technical work.

That's GhostMidi.

You bring the direction. You bring the taste. You decide what's good and what gets cut. The tool handles the part that takes hours when it shouldn't: the chord stacking, the voice leading, the bassline that lands on the right roots, the melody that responds to your lead. Then you drag the .mid into your DAW and finish the song the way only you can.

Your name on the cover. That's the whole point.
