Short version: cancel any time, and if something genuinely broke for you, email us — we'll make it right.
Cancellation
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your Account page → Manage subscription (which opens the Stripe customer portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. Your cloud-saved projects remain accessible during the paid period and you can export them as .mid files any time.
Refunds
We don't issue automatic prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period — when you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
That said, we'll consider refunds case-by-case for:
- Accidental double-billing.
- Subscription you never used (signed up by mistake, never generated anything).
- Extended Service downtime that prevented you from using what you paid for.
- Bugs that made the Service unusable for your use case (within 7 days of subscribing).
Email support@ghostmidi.com with a brief description of the situation. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your card within 5–10 business days.
Free tier and tips
The free tier has no charges. Coffee-fund tips sent via the “Buy me a coffee” button are one-time gifts and are not refundable unless sent in error — email us in that case.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please email us first — we'll almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback can. Disputes filed without contacting us may result in account suspension while we investigate.
